Why We collect information / what information is collected

We do not collect more information than we need to fulfil our stated purposes and will not retain it for longer than is necessary. We may collect your email address, where you have communicated with us via email, website registration, subscribe to our newsletter or guest lists, through business events, press days, trade shows or where you have provided this information to use for general legitimate business interest. We will also collect your email address, address and telephone number when you sign our agreement contract forms for the loan of fashion collections from the Felicities Designer Showroom.

 

For employment purposes, we will need limited data about personal identifiers, education, employment and financial details. All of the information you provide during the process will only be used for the purpose of progressing your application, or to fulfil legal or regulatory requirements if necessary. If we require sensitive personal data then we will ensure that the collection and use is in strict accordance with the GDPR principles of data protection and data privacy.

 

Website

When someone visits our website www.felicities.co.uk we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website. If we do want to collect personally identifiable information through our website, we will make it very clear by asking you to subscribe to our mailing list.

 

Our website is backed up and the all the files are stored on our hosting account with WordPress and no one apart from our third-party web developer Webbake “The Hosting Company” and Felicities are granted access on the server. All the information collected on the contact forms is forwarded directly to Felicities and is not stored on the website. All subscriber information from the Stylist section stays on the website.

Felicities are not responsible for the content of any other website, including any website through which you may have gained access to our website or to which you may gain access from our website. We do not accept any liability in connection with any such websites or links.

 

Use of Cookies

We use cookies to store visitors’ preferences and record past activity in order to provide better service for visitors who come to our site. e-Newsletter

We use a third-party provider, Mail Chimp, to deliver our news, press releases, event invites and e-newsletters. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies including clear gifs to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. How we store and protect your information

All personal information collected by us is stored on our secure system on Dropbox Business, which is committed to being compliant with GDPR and is also complaint with the most widely accepted standards and regulations around the world.
We have appropriate security measures in place in our physical offices to protect against loss, misuse or alteration of information that we have collected from you at our site.

 

Felicities uses a third party service to help maintain the security and performance of the Felicities website. To deliver this service it processes the IP addresses of visitors to the Felicities website. We have an SSL certificate on our website which will establish an encrypted link between a web server and a browser. The link ensures that all data passed between the web server and browsers remain private and integral.

 

How we use your information and who we share it with

If you supply us with your email address, you may receive periodic contact from us via email with information on services, press releases, event tickets, shows and relevant news. We only share your data with the Felicities team and our clients for legitimate business interest and use and we do not share it with third parties outside of our organisation. How long we will hold your data

We will only hold your data as long as necessary for legitimate business purposes and we will review the personal data we hold every 24 months, and delete anything we no longer need, or is no longer relevant. Information that does not need to be accessed regularly, but which still needs to be retained, will be safely archived.

 

For the loans of the fashion collections the data will be safely destroyed on publication or after the date of release of the images.
For employment purposes, if you are successful, the information you provide during the application process will be retained by us as part of your employee file for the duration of your employment plus 6 years following the end of your employment. This includes your criminal records declaration, fitness to work, records of any security checks and references. If you are unsuccessful at any stage of the process, the information you have provided until that point will be retained for 6 months from the closure of the campaign.

 

How you can request access to personal information about you

GDPR gives you the right to access information held about you. If we do hold information about you we will:

  • give you a description of it;
  • tell you why we are holding it;
  • tell you who it could be disclosed to; and
  • let you have a copy of the information in an intelligible form
